Tackling competition..learnings under the Bodhi

Today there is more than 300 pages of pre reading and absorbing expected before tomorrows class. To make things better my maximum retention capacity has been exhausted way back in the morning lectures. Some people say it takes time to get immune to this whole thing of jet fast reading in a b school. I was faster than that though.

In college the hours I spent in the library had an inverse relation with my mental satisfaction levels. Incidentally the more I know I don’t know the more rest less it makes me. Anyway so strolling down the super clean roads of my campus, which pretty much gives me a feeling of being in another planet an eons away, we got the answer to life..or more categorically, life here.

The best way to bring down competition is collaboration. In that context I must talk about the sorority of two headed turtles – the procrastinators. The enlightening that I attained under the bodhi tree near the hostel chaupal, was induced by the golden words of my roommate I choose not to disclose due to resource availability issues. The only way out of this whirlpool of self reinforcing competition in a b school is to make everyone a follower of the sorority. If no one wants to study, there is no competition. With a narrow view of the market, its not a bad beginning. In the best interest of the student body the sorority shall be promoted by force. Options are to consecrate the sarovar food with the languor stimulating chemicals. However since only 20% of the student might be eating at sarovar and the food in itself is laze inducing, this option isn’t a viable investment. The optimal choice hence as spelt out by the nirvana guru aka your truly’s roomie is to bless the airconditioner with the revolutionary lethargic thoughts. That way no one is left out. At the end of the day everyone I am happy.

On a more cautious note since I stand a risk of finding infinitesimally small fraction of people for the sorority followers, it makes sense to commence the pre reading for tomorrows lecture…Also, based on an intellectual discussion at the dining hall I am also now considering wearing my pony tail to act as a energy channelizer to gain a competitive edge.
